As the end of April and the mew Moon approach, I’m recalling the powerful energies of last month’s equinox and eclipses. I can say that I have embraced the peacefulness that comes from neutrality—letting go of attachment to outcome.
I feel a calmness, a love, a reverence for life that I had touched the edges of before, but not fully allowed myself to experience. This isn’t somber; it’s filled with laughter, joy, playfulness and feeling a childlike wonder.
In this time between moon phases, it hasn’t been hard to find tragic stories in the news. So many of these stories have the potential to bring disturbance into an untrained consciousness.
As we enter this new moon time, I invite you to discern what keeps you in states of peace, joy and love. What makes you unshakable? Cultivate that and let the rest fall away.
For me, staying in neutrality is like bobbing up and down in waves, not staying too high or too low, but gently floating in the center. While I know that everything is here to help me, it’s mine to discern how I receive the help. Sometimes the beauty of life moves me to tears, it’s so deeply felt. At other times, life is so comedic, I’m laughing until I cry. It’s all good. It’s all wonderful. I’m just riding the waves.
May you find your center in every moment. Have a good cry, a good laugh, and breathe.
With Love,
Deborah
